‘Descontrol’ was a HC/punk from Lima (Peru) consisting of Alfonso ‘Alfi’ Regalado (bass: ex ‘Conflicto Social’, later ‘Asesinados Por Su Arte’), Gonzalo Farfán (guitar; ex ‘Autopsia’, later ‘GX3’), Luis ‘Nacho’ Cisneros (vocals; ex ‘Conflicto Social’) and Ronny Dávila (drums; ex ‘Pánico’). Besides this demo there’s also a split-tape (with ‘GX3’) on Matthias Weigand’s tape-label Total Noise Tapes (TNT).
Gonzalo (who also played the bass on these recordings) accounts on the www: “One afternoon, we locked ourselves up with a 4-channel mixer in the drummer’s room.” The music is indebted to ‘Discharge’ and Finnish HardCore, with nods to crossover.

The live recordings are from our last gig (87-11-30) at Colegio Reyes Rojos – a school in Lima. The name of the gig was Metal + Core; the other bands that played were ‘Curriculum Mortis’, ‘GX3’, ‘Ataque Frontal’ & ‘Blasfema’. [Those tracks also appeared on a CD with the band’s complete recordings; released by the label Rock & Core Division in 2006.]
