This demo was recorded March ’95 (a month before I first saw them at the Vort’n Vis, 95-04-09). Their orginal line-up was: Jeroen ‘Beertje’ Vrijhoef (guitar; later also ran the label Coalition recs with Marcel Palijama), Jasper Meijerink (bass; later replaced by Johnny van de Koolwijk), Jonas Moberg (guitar), Roland ‘Big’ ‘Lord Bigma’ Roller (vocals, also guitarist ‘Man Lifting Banner’) and Pepijn Oostenbrink (drums, later also in ‘One Day Closer’). ‘Mainstrike’ was an SxE band from Arnhem/Nijmegen and played ‘youth-crew’ style HC.

My review in Tilt! #8: >>Strong old-school SE-HC that makes you grind your teeth and jump head first into things. The kind I like… Lyrics in the positive vein…that could be a bit more challenging. Great tape that gives me good vibes.<< Here’s the interview I did with them for Tilt! #9: ‘Mainstrike’ interview 1997.

The tracks Faith, How I Feel, Can´t Bring Me Down & Foundation also appeared on the Times Still Here 7″ (re-recorded in September ’95).
